2010 Addington Family Reunion
Friday and Saturday, July 23 and 24 in Blairsville, Georgia
FRIDAY: We’ll gather together for a social time in the Community Room at Union Community Bank from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Be sure to bring your pictures and mementos to share.
SATURDAY: The Registration/Membership desk will open at 9:00 a.m., in the Ivy Log Baptist Church ’s Fellowship Hall, followed by the program, business meeting and luncheon.
David Addington of Houston , Texas , will be our speaker.
David has compiled pictures of ancestors and areas where Addingtons have made their homes,
as well as copies of documents important to our family. He’ll share those, allowing time for input by members attending.
The ladies of Ivy Log Baptist Church will provide lunch for $12/person.
Our menu will include two salads, two vegetables, two meats, desserts, donuts, coffee and iced tea.

The Best Western Milton Inn (706-745-6995 or 1-800-528-1234) has rooms for 10% off which is either $71.99 plus tax or $80.99 plus tax, depending on whether you choose an interior or exterior entry room.
The Seasons Inn (706-745-1631 or 1-800-901-4422) have rooms for $65 plus tax.
The Holiday Inn Express (706-745-6844) has NO rooms available that weekend at this time. They have reserved all rooms for another group until July 5, when any rooms not yet reserved will be made available for $109 plus tax.
In Blue Ridge , 21 miles away, there is a Comfort Inn and Suites (706-946-3333) and a Days Inn (706-632-2100); costs vary widely.
It is highly recommended that you make your reservations quickly.
